When I go in P圜harm to Run - Edit Configurations, for my current project, there are two options that are selected with a check mark: " Add content roots to PYTHONPATH" and " Add source roots to PYTHONPATH". I’ve added the path below as a path variable.

I made sure that the path to my_module is correct.I am not declaring a different / special python version at the top of cool_script.py.Hence, why do I get the error when I try to run cool_script.py? - What am I missing? bashrcī) in P圜harm - Settings - Project cur_proj - Project Interpreter - CogWheel next to python interpreter - more - show paths for selected interpreter icon, the paths from PYTHONPATH do appear (as I think they should) However Python will still mark the module name with an error 'no module named x': When the interpreter executes the import statement, it searches for x.

In cool_script.py, I can write from my_module import my_mod as mmĪnd P圜harm even makes suggestion for my_mod. If you look into P圜harm configuration, there are two options: Add content roots to PYTHONPATH Add source roots to PYTHONPATH They are flagged by default. In ProjectView (CMD-7), I can see my project cur_proj (in red) and under "External Libraries" I do see my_module. I have opened the folder in P圜harm using File - open (and I assume, hence, it is a P圜harm project). I have written a module (a file my_mod.py file residing in the folder my_module).Ĭurrently, I am working in the file cool_script.py that resides in the folder cur_proj.
